The medium or base is used to add to the paint and reduce the color intensity.
For example: if you mix medium with 1:1 paint, the color will be less intense, but all the properties of ordinary paint (density, opacity, opacity) will be preserved.
If you mix medium with 10:1 paint, the color will be completely dull, but all the properties of the paint will be preserved.
Medium is the base for the AIR line of paints, but without pigment.

Separation During Storage? Nothing to Worry About
You may notice pigment settling or separation during storage — this is normal for liquid acrylics and has no effect on paint quality.
Simply shake the bottle for about one minute before use and you’re good to go!

Weather-Resistant and Durable
We recommend applying washes, filters, lacquers, or other solvents 24 hours after painting.
Once fully cured, the paint layer remains slightly elastic, allowing it to withstand minor shrinkage from topcoats or lacquers.
Jim Scale acrylics tolerate temperatures down to -30°C, making them ideal for year-round shipping and storage.
